To put into action, in all sectors the real-time BEEInfoSTRIP™ Tool to monitor and report on B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment); creating an active citizenry approach by the automatic inclusion of the public in a symbiotic relationship (to interact) with the daily outcome of the B-BBEE system; by design the ordinary man-in-the-street, the CEO of a company, the Minister of DTI – nationally everyone will be empowered (B-BBEE switched-on).
We the petitioners are disappointed and frustrated by the process of Black Economic Empowerment – the sentiment of which has been voiced publically by Ministers of Parliament and citizens. The B-BBEE system is challenged by crime and bad publicity.
(Enough negative information has been published and therefore we will not labour the point)
On the 7th of September 1994 at the 5th National Congress of COSATU, Madiba cautioned: “...the success of the RDP (BEE is within the context of the Reconstruction Development Programme) will depend ,above everything else,on the extent to which we involve all sectors of society in carrying it out... Without such work, the RDP will remain a good programme on paper, but a damp squib(miniature explosive device) in actual practice.”
Has BEE become a volatile subject today?
The B-BBEE system lacks tactile (tangible) feedback required by the public to interact with BEE e.g. The ringing of a cell phone alerts the user to act, therefore the sound (which is the feedback) links the user to an action i.e. to answer the call. (That's smart and effective)
The feedback (link) feature is ABSENT from the B-BBEE
System, thus the public is detached from BEE and unaware of what is
truly happening with BEE. Without this link, people, politicians and
businesses are free to commit fraud. This problem is eradicated as the BEEInfoSTRIP™ Tool
activates the built-in Transparent Interactive
Communication (TIC) component and so delivers the much needed
feedback to the the public to effectively benefit and interact
with the BEE System.
In the recently published National Development Plan 2030, the
National Planning Commission (NPC) made mention of an Active
Citizenry. The BEEInfoSTRIP™ Tool automatically mobilizes an
"Active Citizenry" movement through B-BBEE information
consciousness on a scale totaling our entire country's
population. We petition the DTI and Government:

To acknowledge us - THE PEOPLE - as the integral part of
the process of economic empowerment
2)
To facilitate our automatic and seamless integration (plug-in) to
the B-BBEE system via the BEEInfoSTRIP™ Tool so as to broaden our
knowledge, understanding and co-operation with informed choices for our
economic welfare.
In conclusion:
Minister of DTI, BEE Advisory council - the immediate and
potential benefits, spin-offs and value to us as citizens are
immeasurable: Yes, the Tool creates the window (bridge) into BEE
and opens a forum for many questions especially when exposing
fronting and the little or no B-BBEE product supplied into the
marketplace. On the other hand we may be pleasantly surprised.
At the moment we are unfairly disadvantaged, kept in the dark,
frustrated and disappointed. We require B-BBEE tactile
interactive feedback i.e. B-BBEE information processed and
reported by the BEEInfoSTRIP™ Tool in a user friendly format on our till-slips/ invoices,
etc that we can and will act on.
