The BEEInfoSTRIP™ is valuable in the following operational areas:
  1. BEE Education– Empower local, Buy local (A GREAT need within the Public & Private sector) – Daily the Public will interact with a practical tangible BEE instrument and through on-going contact familiarize themselves with the basics of BEE i.e. “real-life” practical BEE contact.
     
  2. BEE Awareness – The lack of tangible tools to encourage BEE and the consciousness of BEE has added to the fact that people have become unenthusiastic toward BEE. The BEEInfoSTRIP™ will daily deliver real-time information into the hands of the Public and thus facilitate the BEE interaction necessary to create awareness in homes and businesses. It is a fact that people are attracted to aspects of finance and with the BEEInfoSTRIP™ analysis of purchases section; it will attract the Public’s interest.
     
  3. Whistle blowing tool (Policing BEE). Access to BEE information via the BEEInfoSTRIP™ tool, allows the public and employee(s) to notice, question and act on false BEE information. The BEEInfoSTRIP™ instrument augments the fraud hotline made available by Government.
     
  4. Job Creation / Poverty Alleviation - BEE prospects will be exposed as items will be flagged non-BEE supplied and this will be an opportunity for the entrepreneur to pursue -- Job creation via enterprise development; creating new suppliers, supplier partnerships, etc resulting in capital reform i.e. the spread of wealth contributing to the upgrading of impoverished people and communities.
     
  5. Encourages VALUE-ADD – It is easy to front or sell a product on behalf of another. In such cases the BEEInfoSTRIP™ will clearly indicate the origin of the product, an area that procurement should question and room for the vendor to become creative in either adding value by re-working the product or benefitting the product with service to make the product their own.

  5. BEE Source document – The BEEInfoSTRIP™ together with an invoice, receipt or till slip forms the declaration of the vendors BEE intent and actions and if found to be fraudulent the document is evidence thereof.

Monitoring BEE – Although every effort is made in conjunction with compliance certificates and Governments on-line systems; the BEEInfoSTRIP™ is the Public’s mirror or check point against what is recorded either on BEE certificates or on-line. Together the integrity lies in the providers of BEE information and the vigilance of the public who is able to moderate such information to curb increasing fraud and fronting that is a scourge against BEE. With any discrepancy noted at this level, the Government on-line system is either at fault or the provider(s) of BEE information. The chance of “ERRORS” being noted is greater, saving time and increasing the integrity and efficiency of monitoring BEE.
     
  7. BEE Tabulation Tool – The BEEInfoSTRIP™ instrument reflects the total amount of money spent on BEE products. This figure is totaled across all invoices to indicate a clear picture of BEE spend. An accurate figure can now be entered as relates to the BEE certification questionnaire as to your BEE procurement. The Revenue Services will be able to accurately quantify BEE spend per individual, company and country.
